Call for Interns/Research Assistants
Research Institute of Development and European Affairs (RIDEA) is
currently seeking two interns/research assistants to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the EU integration process, development,
peace and reconciliation issues, stability, security, and inter-ethnic
relations in Kosovo and the wider Western Balkans region.
- Assisting with current projects.
- Aiding in drafting project proposals and publications.
- Assisting the team in launching international seasonal schools.
- Supporting the information program (e.g., academic journal, e-news,
press releases, etc.).
- Assisting with the organization of events.
- Proofreading and editing texts.
- Supporting the maintenance of RIDEA’s database.
- Keeping RIDEA’s website updated.
- Other tasks as assigned by project managers.
Requirements:
- Excellent proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
- An undergraduate or postgraduate student of international relations,
political science, economics, management, business administration, law, or
related fields.
- Fundamental knowledge of the political and economic systems in
Kosovo and the wider Western Balkans region.
- Commitment to research and policy-oriented work.
- An ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer skills.
Internships are paid. Additionally, we offer:

institutions in various policy fields.
- Familiarity with EU and other international actor policies on Kosovo
and the wider Western Balkans.
