The Research Institute of Development and European Affairs (RIDEA) is an independent think-tank devoted to promoting and improving the quality of the debate and analysis on development and European affairs in Kosovo and the broader region. RIDEA believes in the principles of freedom, a free society and responsibility, and it draws its inspiration from these principles. It seeks to play a key role in pioneering and promoting new practical ideas, initiatives and solutions to the problems facing the development and European integration process in Kosovo and the broader region. It aims to be a force for change by delivering far-reaching and evidence-based policy solutions that are well-placed in policy-making processes. In doing so, alongside its research, RIDEA organizes debates, seminars, workshops, conferences, training, and other related projects, aiming to engage scholars, researchers, and policy-makers in its work. As an independent think-tank, RIDEA is a non-profit organization and its projects are completely funded by private and public entities.
